The Gilead Success with Reading Program, part 1 allows parents and teachers to give children the key, foundational skills in learning to read from beginning to competency.

The Gilead Success with Reading Program, part 1 contains four interactive computer CD-ROM / book sets – one for teachers and parents, three for children.

An Overview – for parents and teachers; a rationale with examples
Alphabet Album – initial sound of words, most common sound of each letter of the alphabet
Traffic Lights – identify sounds within words
The Giant Reading CD-ROMs – phonics, sight words, spelling, handwriting, rhyming, …

Many extra features include

Print your own books – to read, and to practise handwriting.
Games and activities – a lot of ideas; card games, memory aids, flash cards, a set of letters, … to print.
A variety of record sheets to print – track children’s progress.
Vocabulary lists also make it useful for English as a Second Language students of any age.
